Originally from the Toulouse region, Jérémy Rollando is a distinctive guitarist and composer whose music draws on a rich and diverse heritage. Son of percussionist Pascal Rollando, he grew up surrounded by renowned artists such as Bernardo Sandoval, Serge Lopez, Renaud Garcia Fons and Kiko Ruiz - key figures of world music and flamenco. Drawn to the guitar from an early age, Jérémy developed a personal style that blends fire and finesse. A self-taught musician, he refined his musical language when he joined the professional program at Music’Halle in Toulouse in 2014, where he founded the group Terranga and released the album Couleurs Nomades (2017). A curious and generous artist, Jérémy has multiplied collaborations and recordings alongside Agnès Jaoui, Francis Cabrel, Jean-Pierre Mader & Richard Seff, Naïma Chemoul, Sylvain Cazalbou Alsina, and within Baboo Music (Aurélie Cabrel, Esthen Dehut). He also works as an arranger and guitarist on numerous projects, crossing boundaries between chanson, jazz, Latin and traditional music. In 2022, Jérémy was awarded the Prix Nougaro – Région Occitanie in the Instrumental Music category for his composition Altitude. In March 2023, he released his debut solo album, La Montgolfière - a sensitive, journeying world where jazz, flamenco, classical music and Mediterranean influences intertwine. For this project, he surrounded himself with a trio of leading musicians from the Toulouse scene: Jean-Luc Amestoy (accordion, piano), Pascal Rollando (percussion), and Emmanuel Forster (double bass). His new album, ZEF, continues this musical adventure. Le Vent du Nord, the internationally renowned Quebec quintet, has just successfully completed its special 20th anniversary tour and is back with its 13th album, ‘Voisinages’, which will be released on 10/10/2025 in digital format (worldwide). The album ‘Voisinages’ is available for pre-order on all platforms. Their first single/music video, ‘Sur le pont,’ is already available. The new album explores the universal theme of Voisinages (neighbourhoods), a subject that encompasses various interpretations of neighbours and connections. There is the closeness between musical neighbours such as the Irish, Scots, Acadians and Americans who have all enriched Québec’s repertoire. Then there are those neighbours with whom we share our rivers and streams, those who bear witness to history – battles won or lost,  wrongdoings, losses, friendships, and above all, love. It's an invitation to create happy neighbourhoods,’ explains Nicolas Boulerice. ‘We started this movement on Territoires, and now we're focusing more on the people who live there.’ While ’’20 Printemps’’ was intended to be an album of celebration and joy, for ‘’Voisinages’’, the band allowed themselves a few melancholic ballads. "There are also more literary songs, while still keeping one foot in tradition. With the arrival of André Gagné, who has his own unique style and voice, it took us somewhere else and made us want to try new things and challenge ourselves. Fabienne Magnant will unveil “Cordas Sensíveis / Cordes Sensibles”, her fifth album, on its CD release, November 07, 2025, on Guit'Art Productions / Music Box Publishing / InOuïe Distribution. This opus will be presented on Thursday, December 4, 2025, on the stage of Les 2 Pianos (Paris) during an exceptional launch concert. ‘’This fifth album is a testament to several years of travels and artistic inspiration. Once again, I play my three guitars (classical/Brazilian guitar, flamenco guitar, and viola caipira) as I did on my previous album, La Trinidad (2011), but this time solo or with other musicians ranging from a duo to a quartet. The pieces featured are masterpieces from the classical repertoire, flamenco solos arrangements of gems from Brazilian popular music on my viola caipira, and personal compositions with my guitars accompanied by percussion, bass and double bass, rabeca, bass clarinet, and poetic vocals. This melting pot, reflecting my many musical passions, leaves plenty of room for sharing with other musicians and poets, but without forgetting the intimacy that instrumental solos can offer, which is so dear to me. At the age of 25, after graduating from conservatory, she left for Brazil, where she met influential musicians, notably guitarist Baden Powell. This stay inspired her to compose and explore new musical horizons. Her albums, such as Le sens des sens (2003), are the fruit of her travels and influences, particularly in northeastern Brazil; she became a figure in Brazilian music with her instrument of choice, the viola caïpira. Her musical curiosity also led her to explore flamenco guitar in Andalusia, incorporating this influence into her work. Fabienne Magnant has released five albums, including “La Trinidad” in 2011, and her new opus, released on all platforms in May 2025, “Cordas sensiveis/Cordes Sensibles” on Music Box Publishing, and on InOuïe Distribution from November 7, 2025, in physical stores. She is regularly praised by the specialist press. In 2018 and 2019, she was listed in the top 10 traditional Brazilian musicians by the São Paulo newspaper Sertaopaulistano. She teaches classical and Latin guitar (as a tenured professor of artistic education) at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental d'Evry and performs regularly in concerts in Europe and Brazil. Her compositions are published by Les Productions d'Oz (sheet music) and Music Bo Publishing (in the film and documentary music catalog). Gabriel Lenoir will unveil "Tournivelle", La Cuivraille second album, on its release November 21, 2025 on Les Beaux Jours / InOuïe Distribution. The single ‘Cap Gris Nez-The Gale’, the first single from this album, will be available on September 26, 2025 on all platforms. Ten years after their first album, La Cuivraille returns with "Tournivelle", a record that celebrates traditional dancing while bringing it fully into the present day. A festive, poetic, and generous album, designed for dancing and listening. Created in 2014, La Cuivraille is a band that uniquely blends the sounds of traditional French music with the energy and textures of contemporary music (groove, funk, reggae, etc.). Radio Tarifa est né à Madrid de la rencontre de trois musiciens : Faín Sánchez Dueñas(Valladolid), Vincent Molino (Montpellier) et Benjamín Escoriza (Grenade). Faín et Vincent se sont rencontrés en 1985 alors qu'ils jouaient dans un groupe de musique médiévale. Ils partageaient également un intérêt pour la musique arabe et méditerranéenne. Plus tard, ils rencontrent Benjamín dont ils apprécient la voix, la présence sur scène et un sens poétique particulier dans l’écriture des textes de chansons. Dans la lignée habituelle de Radio Tarifa : neuf chansons traditionnelles et cinq chansons originales. Comme d'habitude, Faín a assuré la production et la plupart des arrangements musicaux. Cette fois, en l'absence de Benjamín Escoriza, huit autres chanteurs ont participé à l’enregistrement, qui comprend aussi le thème “La Noche”, chanté par Benjamín, sur un texte écrit par lui dans un enregistrement de 2004 Les influences sont multiples : rock, flamenco, polyphonie médiévale, castillane, grecque, bretonne, japonaise et autres folklores.

Tout en s’interrogeant constamment sur son obsession pour les Balkans, cette région quasi mythique qui a connu tant de souffrances, mais qui a aussi apporté tant de beauté au monde, le groupe poursuit ici un voyage musical à travers des endroits réels et imaginaires. Cet album contient huit titres, certains sont des morceaux purement instrumentaux, d’autres sont des chansons interprétées en roumain et en serbo-croate. Balkan Taksim est composé de : - Sașa-Liviu Stoianovici : tanbur ottoman, électro-saz, tamburitza, synthétiseurs, theremin, cobza, guimbarde, voix, mix - Alin Zãbrãuțeanu : basse électrique, synthétiseurs, sampling, mix Les deux chansons traditionnelles enregistrées ici viennent pour l’une du nord-est de la Roumanie (titre n° 3) et pour l’autre de Turquie, mais passée par le prisme de l’ex-Yougoslavie, plus précisément la Bosnie (titre n° 8). Fidèle à ses racines musicales et à ses expériences personnelles, le groupe joue de plusieurs instruments à cordes traditionnels : le tanbur ottoman classique se mêle au luth folklorique roumain – la cobza – et, entre les deux, on peut entendre les voix de deux membres de la famille des tamburica (luths à long manche), le prim et le dangubica (appelé également samica). Comme à son habitude, le groupe utilise ces sons traditionnels parfois filtrés et distordus. En guise de signature sonore, Balkan Taksim incorpore les textures acides de l’électro-saz turc saturé, une de leurs sonorités préférées. On y croise également des lignes de guitare basse, des synthétiseurs analogiques et numériques, du thérémine et divers échantillonnages ethniques. D’autres éléments sonores, tels que des bruits électroniques et des craquements apportent une touche post-industrielle à l’ensemble. Tous ces moyens techniques sont mis en œuvre pour créer un espace à la fois brut et réel, mais aussi onirique. Dans cet album, l’auditeur retrouvera des éléments à la fois imaginaires et authentiques propres à la culture populaire des Balkans et des Carpates, entremêlés à des mélodies d’inspiration ottomane ainsi qu’à des citations de musique populaire urbaine occidentale de ces dernières années. Acide balkanique est le fruit d’une rencontre hypnotique entre plusieurs espaces géographiques et culturels : interprétées par les sons électroniques contemporains, les voix des musiciens paysans des Carpates rencontrent les mélodies rythmées des troubadours des Balkans, dans une véritable quête d’unité.  

Gaëlle Bagot & Juan Manuel Nieto will reveal Jardin d'ailleurs, their new album, on its release on October 03, 2025 under MusiqueLive / InOuïe Distribution. This opus will be presented on Wednesday, November 05, 2025 on the stage of Les 2 Pianos (Paris, 15th) during an exceptional launch concert. The fruit of labour centered on improvisation and orality, this first album features nine original compositions, performed by Gaëlle Bagot on lead vocals and clarinets - B flat, E flat, bass - and Juan Manuel Nieto on piano and vocals. On three tracks, two guests bring their taste for experimentation and hybridization to the duo: cellist Simon Lannoy, constantly on the lookout for sound exploration, and beatboxer Oxyjinn, a vocal explorer. Jardin d'ailleurs evokes an intimate and poetic sonic voyage, at the crossroads of jazz, world music and chanson, and blends the nomadic breath of the clarinet, a clear and expressive voice, and a piano with pop or jazz harmonies. The album navigates between world rhythms, sung melodies and improvisations, like a musical travel diary with warm, lively accents. In search of aerial flights and cross-country surveys, these two musicians forge their complicity around the art of duo and unveil compositions that invite travel beyond borders. Gaëlle Bagot, French clarinettist and singer, and Juan Manuel Nieto, Ecuadorian pianist, met in 2017 as part of the “Jazz, improvised & traditional music” curriculum at Pôle Sup' 93, an advanced training program that enabled them to perfect their skills with renowned artists such as Vincent Ségal, Magic Malik, Julien Lourau, Bojan Z and François Jeanneau. For three years, they enriched their respective worlds, fusing influences and learning. After graduating, and with the support of cellist Vincent Ségal, Gaëlle and Juan decided in 2020 to form a minimalist duo, piano and clarinet/voice. Their first arrangements were covers of songs and pieces from local and international cultures. But they soon moved on to original creations. Their original compositions, created by the two of them, explore a melodic language rich in polyrhythms, ornaments, unisons and varied playing modes; they are nourished by their eclectic musical curiosity: folk, jazz, salsa, French chanson, Ecuadorian, Brazilian and Argentinean music, Breton/Irish music, Balkan music, maloya, etc. Since 2021, the duo has been performing in concert, notably at Festival Saint-Denis, Festival Jazz in Noyon, Sunset-Sunside and La Bellevilloise in Paris.

Kaabi Kouyaté will unveil his new album, “Tribute to Kandia,” upon its release on June 27, 2025, on Buda Musique / Socadisc. Sory Kandia Kouyaté (1933-1977) was “The Voice” of independent Guinea. A descendant of Balla Fasséké Kouyaté, the illustrious djeli (custodian of a people’s oral tradition) of Soundiata Keïta, founder of the Mandingo Empire, he was introduced to music (in particular the ngoni) and the complex Mandingo genealogy by his learned father. His gifts astonished the royal court of Mamou, which he joined at a very early age. “ It is to this baobab of Guinean song that one of his sons, Kabiné Kandia Kouyaté, aka Kaabi, dedicates this tribute. The project was prompted by director Laurent Chevallier, who made “La Trace de Kandia”, a film that won an award from the Académie Charles Cros in 2015, in which Kaabi returned to Guinea in his father’s footsteps to discover the places and witnesses of his legend. Through its choice of repertoire, this tribute recounts the mental geography of Sory Kandia Kouyaté and his place in the Mandinka griot tradition of epic song. Contemporary heritage: this was the goal set for himself by Sory Kandia Kouyaté. Kaabi worked in the same spirit, admitting that he needed time to understand the scope of such a legacy. On the strength of this background, he has surrounded himself with a dedicated team: loyalists such as Badje Tounkara (ngoni), Ballaké Sissoko (kora) and Lansine Kouyaté (balafon), as well as guests who know that Mandinka music can only be approached with tact and humility: guests such as Jean-Philippe Rykiel, well known to African musicians and whose piano has taken up residence in the savannah. The presence of singer Aminata Camara, who was his father's backing vocalist, symbolises a passing of the torch. Yet the most fascinating thing about this album is Kaabi's voice, whose timbre, modulations and inflections, and the felicity of his DNA, echo so hauntingly those of Guinea's most famous griot. Il a été nommé Artiste de l’année lors de la Conférence annuelle internationale North American Folk Alliance (2006) et il a été le premier récipiendaire du Prix Pont Transatlantique (2015) conjointement décerné par les organisations internationales BabelMed (France) et Mundial Montréal (Québec). En 2019, il a eu l’honneur de recevoir le Grand Prix Desjardins - Musique décerné par Culture Lanaudière et le Prix Edith Butler décerné par la Société des professionnels auteurs-compositeurs québécois (SPACQ). La formation a performé lors de grands festivals notamment Celtic Connections, WOMAD Chile, WOMADelaid, WOMAD New Zealand, lors du Grand spectacle télévisé de la Fête nationale à Montréal en 2018 ainsi que lors du Grand Spectacle télévisé de la Fête nationale qui a attiré 75 000 personnes sur les Plaines à Québec en juin 2019. Enfin Le Vent du Nord s'est vu décerné le Songlines Music Awards en 2023 pour son album "20 Printemps".
