“Isabelle Courroy leads the exploration of the kaval’s resources to the most contemporary side of creative music. By commissioning three renowned composers, she reveals a kaval of today, resolutely modern yet never suppressing the layers of its Eastern European memories.” – Michaël Dian, Festival de Chaillol (05)
Compositions and commissioned works from composers Michel Moglia, Zad Moultaka, and François Wong for oblique flutes, kavals, tape, and electronics.
