Saodaj is the image of a plural, vast, infinite country: Reunion. A music in love with Maloya, emancipated and wandering. In Creole, in French, their lyrics rise up and are indignant, seeking beauty in the darkness of the world. Saodaj has been forging its path for a decade between tradition and modernity, where the alternative rock of saturated strings is one with percussive polyrhythms.
