Teacher Jekyll <\/strong>pr\u00e9sentera \u00abOndas<\/strong>\u00bb son nouvel album le jeudi 26 avril <\/strong>\u00e0 20h00 sur la sc\u00e8ne du Hasard Ludique<\/strong>, \u00e0 l’occasion de sa sortie le 27 avril chez <\/strong>K Bress \/ In Ou\u00efe Distribution.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Teacher Jekyll<\/strong> est \u00e0 l’origine un projet studio exp\u00e9rimental \u00e0 l’initiative du producteur multi instrumentiste et DJ nantais Olivier Corre<\/strong> qui souhaitait m\u00ealer les musiques latines et tropicales \u00e0 des sons \u00e9lectroniques, des rythmes plus urbains (hip hop, dubstep, kuduro…). L’id\u00e9e \u00e9tant de donner du sang neuf  et un surcro\u00eet d’\u00e9nergie \u00e0 des formes musicales traditionnelles sans les d\u00e9naturer… Le groupe invite pour ce disque, des jeunes artistes rencontr\u00e9s durant les concerts comme le Portugais Maxito<\/strong> ou le Capverdien Jowest<\/strong>… Mais, pr\u00e9servant cette id\u00e9e de rassembler les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, il enregistre \u00e9galement le chanteur martiniquais Sam Alpha<\/strong> connu pour ses reprises de Brassens en Cr\u00e9ole et Flaco Nu\u00f1ez<\/strong>, le fondateur du groupe Orishas<\/strong>. Cet album reste dans l’esprit originel de Teacher Jekyll<\/strong> en m\u00ealant traditions et sons modernes. Un disque g\u00e9n\u00e9reux, \u00e0 la fois festif et profond s’inspirant aussi bien des formes musicales capverdiennes (funana, morna…) que br\u00e9siliennes (bossa nova, samba) ou cubaines… Une musique tropicale moderne sans fronti\u00e8res !<\/p>\n
