<\/b>Fanga<\/b> le groupe leader de la sc\u00e8ne afro-beat<\/b> en France, pr\u00e9sentera \u00abKal\u00e9idoscope<\/b>\u00bb son 7e album le mardi 7 mars sur la sc\u00e8ne du New Morning<\/a><\/strong> (un \u00e9v\u00e8nement T\u00e9l\u00e9rama<\/a> <\/b>et FIP<\/b><\/a>) \u00e0 l’occasion de sa sortie le 11 novembre chez Boomerang Production<\/a><\/strong> \/ L’Autre Distribution<\/a><\/strong> et en partenariat avec Kalakuta<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Ne faites pas ce que j\u2019ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait\u2019\u2019, disait Fela Kuti<\/strong> aux artistes engag\u00e9s dans son sillon. C\u2019est ce conseil que Fanga<\/strong>, depuis sa cr\u00e9ation en 1998, s\u2019applique \u00e0 respecter. Son afrobeat<\/strong>, dont il \u00e9pouse la vocation politique, est le fruit de multiples metissages, depuis le hip-hop<\/strong> jusqu\u2019au funk<\/strong>, en passant, par le jazz<\/strong> et la musique mandingue<\/strong>. Articul\u00e9 autour de son chanteur Korbo<\/strong>, le collectif se nourrit donc de multiples influences. Ce n\u2019est pas pour rien que son nouvel album est titr\u00e9 Kal\u00e9idoscope<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

En choisissant un nom qui signifie \u2018\u2019Force, \u00e9nergie et puissance\u2019\u2019 en dioula, Fanga<\/strong> ne croyait pas si bien dire. La force de conviction est bien ce qui explique que le collectif reste en activit\u00e9, avec une foi intacte dans sa musique et les messages qu\u2019il v\u00e9hicule. EP \u00e9ponyme (2000), Afrokaliyptik (2003), Natural Juive ( 2007), Sira Ba (2009), Afrokaliptyk nation live (2011) et Fangnawa Experience (2012) ont \u00e9maill\u00e9 la carri\u00e8re du groupe qui prend aujourd\u2019hui un nouveau d\u00e9part.<\/p>\n

Kal\u00e9idoscope<\/strong> renoue avec l\u2019\u00e9nergie des d\u00e9buts. Moins jazz<\/strong> et plus funk<\/strong>, l\u2019afrobeat<\/strong> est d\u00e9sormais combin\u00e9 aux traditions africaines : Togo, B\u00e9nin, Ethiopie, Niger, Mali, C\u00f4te-d\u2019Ivoire et Burkina-Faso, sur des textes qui continuent de questionner les notions de justice, de libert\u00e9 et de droit au bonheur, dans un monde qui en manque cruellement.<\/p>\n

Logiquement, la pochette de l\u2019album est un kal\u00e9idoscope dont chaque \u00e9l\u00e9ment \u00e9voque l\u2019un de ses titres, de l\u2019enfant-soldat \u00e0 l\u2019homme-robot. Un collage \u00e0 l\u2019image de notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9, o\u00f9 l\u2019union fera la force \u00e0 condition que l\u2019on mette en musique la diversit\u00e9 de ses composantes.<\/p>\n

Avec Kal\u00e9idoscope<\/strong>, Fanga<\/strong> montre l\u2019exemple.<\/p>\n
