L’artiste franco-s\u00e9n\u00e9galais Tukkiman<\/strong> pr\u00e9sentera son nouvel album \u00ab Tukki<\/strong> \u00bb sur la sc\u00e8ne du Club de La Bellevilloise<\/strong> le jeudi 26 novembre \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de sa sortie le m\u00eame jour chez Tukki Production<\/strong> \/ Keyzit<\/strong> \/ Deazed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9marche chaloup\u00e9e, voix grave, flow hypnotique : Tukkiman<\/strong> affiche une apparente nonchalance qui couve en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 une d\u00e9termination sans faille. Auteur, compositeur, arrangeur, multi-instrumentiste et autodidacte, il livre un premier album \u00e9ponyme, Tukki<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Il y d\u00e9fend une approche humaniste et universelle de la musique, lui qui se d\u00e9finit comme un citoyen du monde. \u00c0 cause de son h\u00e9ritage sans doute. D\u2019abord, partout au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal<\/strong>, les musiques traditionnelles comme le Sabbar<\/strong> sont omnipr\u00e9sentes. Ensuite, tr\u00e8s jeune, Tukkiman<\/strong>, accompagn\u00e9 de ses amis, encourage les \u00e9quipes locales de football en jouant de l\u2019Assiko<\/strong>, ce tambour carr\u00e9 recouvert d\u2019une peau de ch\u00e8vre tendue.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 la fois, il appartient \u00e0 cette premi\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019artistes s\u00e9n\u00e9galais biberonn\u00e9s au hip hop am\u00e9ricain ou \u00e0 la pop anglaise. Un environnement qui le fa\u00e7onne, forge pour lui cette identit\u00e9 musicale suspendue, en perp\u00e9tuel devenir. Dans les ann\u00e9es 90, il apprend seul \u00e0 jouer de la guitare. Puis, toujours en dilettante, il s\u2019essaie au piano, \u00e9crit ses premiers textes, monte son propre studio. Litt\u00e9ralement, il trouve asile dans la musique et d\u00e9finit les contours de son propre style.<\/p>\n

Aujourd\u2019hui, dans ce premier jet musical en solo, il d\u00e9livre une production hybride, m\u00e2tin\u00e9e de compositions inspir\u00e9es, ambitieuses et abouties.<\/p>\n
