R\u00e9alis\u00e9 par <strong>Vincent Lassalle<\/strong> et interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 par <strong>Djeli<\/strong> (chant, kora et guitare) et ses musiciens <strong>Jouni Isoherranen<\/strong> (basse), <strong>Renaud Tenou<\/strong>x (fl\u00fbte) et <strong>Vincent Lassalle<\/strong> (percus), cet album accueille aussi des invit\u00e9s de marque, tels <strong>Guimba Kouyat\u00e9<\/strong> \u00e0 la guitare et <strong>Kandet Dioubat\u00e9<\/strong> aux choeurs.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9 en Guin\u00e9e-Conakry dans une famille de griots, <strong>Djeli<\/strong> apprend tr\u00e8s jeune l\u2019art du chant et de la <strong>kora<\/strong>, en particulier aupr\u00e8s du ma\u00eetre <strong>Lamine Sissoko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Il part ensuite \u00e0 l\u2019aventure \u00e0 travers l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest.<\/p>\n<p>Rep\u00e9r\u00e9 par Souleymane Koly \u00e0 Abidjan, il y rejoint l\u2019ensemble Kot\u00e9ba, participant \u00e0 de prestigieuses tourn\u00e9es internationales de 1989 \u00e0 1993 et composant notamment 4 morceaux pour Waramba, le premier op\u00e9ra mandingue, prim\u00e9 au festival d\u2019Avignon en 1993.<\/p>\n<p>Cette m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, Djeli s\u2019installe \u00e0 Paris et entreprend de nombreuses collaborations avec la cr\u00e8me de la musique africaine.<\/p>\n<p>Manu Dibango (Wakafrica), Salif Ke\u00efta, Richard Bona (Kalaban Koro), Mory Kante, Alpha Blondy, Cesaria Evora, Hank Jones, Cheick Tidiane Seck (Sarala), Sekouba Bambino (Le destin, Sinikan&#8230;), Mangala (R\u00e9exp\u00e9dition), Amy Ko\u00efta: on peut entendre la kora et la voix puissante de Djeli sur leurs albums et sur sc\u00e8ne, en France et \u00e0 l\u2019international.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Djeli<\/strong> participe \u00e9galement \u00e0 de nombreux concerts de soutien (Secours Populaire, Unesco, Musiciens sans fronti\u00e8res\u2026).<\/p>\n<p>En 1998, il est sollicit\u00e9 pour le Festival \u2018Voix du Monde\u2019 \u00e0 Rio.<\/p>\n<p>En 2002, il fait la connaissance de Janice DeRosa et de cette rencontre na\u00eet l\u2019album Aduna.<\/p>\n<p>Il enregistre \u00e9galement les Comptines et berceuses du baobab avec Paul Mindy. <strong>Djeli<\/strong> se consacre alors \u00e0 la composition d\u2019un r\u00e9pertoire tr\u00e8s vite appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 par le public des sc\u00e8nes parisiennes.<\/p>\n<p>En 2010, il rencontre <strong>Vincent Lassalle<\/strong> qui lui propose de r\u00e9aliser son album.<\/p>\n<p>Sorti en 2012, simplement intitul\u00e9 <strong>Djeli<\/strong> et enti\u00e8rement enregistr\u00e9 \u00e0 M\u00e9nilmontant, son quartier de pr\u00e9dilection, le disque est tr\u00e8s bien accueilli par la presse et le public, et donne lieu \u00e0 plus d\u2019une centaine de concerts \u00e0 travers le monde entre 2012 et 2014.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est justement sur les routes, pendant ces tourn\u00e9es, que <strong>Djeli<\/strong> \u00e9crit l\u2019essentiel de son nouveau r\u00e9pertoire, impr\u00e9gn\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9nergie et du cosmopolitisme de ses
