Percuson \/ InOu\u00efe Distribution<\/strong>. &#8220;<strong>\u00c1frica s\u00ed&#8221;<\/strong>, the <strong>first single<\/strong> from this new opus, is already available on all platforms!<\/p>\n<p>There is a link between Afro and Cuban music. In geography, it is the Atlantic; in this album, it is the composer and percussionist <strong>Mansfarroll<\/strong> who plays this role. African captives deported to the Americas introduced their music there. The Caribbean island quickly \u2018Cubanised\u2019 it. Based in France, he collaborated with musicians and groups such as <strong>Chucho Vald\u00e9s, Ibrahim Maalouf, Ernesto &#8216;Tito &#8221; Puentes, David Murray, Patrice Caratini, Julien Lourau, Camille Bertault<\/strong>; major international artists such as <strong>Rosalia, Ang\u00e9lique Kidjo, Las Maravillas de Mali with Mory Kant\u00e9<\/strong>; French pop artists such as <strong>Charles Aznavour, Michel Fugain, Clara Luciani<\/strong>, and many others.<\/p>\n<p>He played at the opening of the <strong>Paris 2024 Olympic Games (Lady Gaga)<\/strong>, the opening of the <strong>Paralympic Games<\/strong> with <strong>Christine and the Queens<\/strong>, and the Parade of Champions with <strong>Philippe Katherine, Christine and the Queens, Cerrone, <\/strong>and <strong>Amadou and Mariam<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He has released two CDs, <em><strong>Utop!a Guantanamera<\/strong><\/em>, nominated for the <strong>Cubadisco award<\/strong>, and <em><strong>Dizzy El Afrocubano<\/strong><\/em>, a tribute to the centenary of <strong>Dizzy Gillespie<\/strong>&#8216;s birth.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mansfarroll, a Cuban composer and percussionist based in France since 2002, will release his third album, \u00c1frica s\u00ed, on 10\/04\/2026 on CD and digitally via M.
