The <strong>album \u2018Arpaora\u2019 is the first flamenco harp record in the history of music.<\/strong> When it was released in Spain in digital format on 28\/03\/2025, it was <strong>widely acclaimed by critics:<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>\u2018Ana Crism\u00e1n, the artist who turned the harp into a flamenco instrument.\u2019<\/em><strong> EL PA\u00cdS<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>\u2018A pioneer and unique in the world in the use of the harp for flamenco.\u2019<\/em> <strong>RTVE<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>\u2018She is going to revolutionise flamenco.\u2019<\/em> <strong>Jos\u00e9 Merc\u00e9<\/strong> (flamenco artist)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ana Crism\u00e1n Arpa Flamenca<\/strong> and <strong>Luis de la Carrasca<\/strong> (guest artist) will present this new album on stage at the <strong>Studio de L&#8217;Ermitage<\/strong> during an exceptional launch concert on <strong>18\/03\/2026<\/strong>, featuring the following line-up: <strong>Ana Crism\u00e1n Arpa Flamenca<\/strong> (flamenco harp), <strong>Luis de la Carrasca<\/strong> (flamenco vocals), <strong>Juan Luis Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> (percussion) and <strong>C\u00e9line Daussan \u2018La Rosa Negra\u2019<\/strong> (dance).<\/p>\n<p>On this album, <strong>Ana Crism\u00e1n Arpa Flamenca<\/strong> is accompanied by: <strong>Jes\u00fas M\u00e9ndez<\/strong>: vocals; <strong>Javier Ktumba<\/strong>: percussion and palmas; <strong>Vicente Soto Sordera:<\/strong> vocals; <strong>Pedro Navarro:<\/strong> percussion; <strong>M. Cantarote:<\/strong> palmas; <strong>Jos\u00e9 Valencia<\/strong>: vocals; <strong>Juan Diego Valencia Vargas<\/strong>: palmas; <strong>Jorge Pardo<\/strong>: brass artist collaboration; <strong>Rosa G\u00f3mez<\/strong>: backing vocals, vocals; <strong>Rosario Heredia<\/strong>: backing vocals, vocals; <strong>Tomasa \u2018La Macanita\u2019<\/strong>: vocals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ARPAORA: the first flamenco harp record in the history of music<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With the presentation of the EP at the World Music Festival in Chicago in October 2024 and the<br \/>\npresentation of the full album at the Jerez Flamenco Festival in 2025, <strong>Arpaora<\/strong> brings us, in addition to the first flamenco harp album, an innovative and absolutely original figure within the Flamenco Universe: the figure of the <strong>Arpaora<\/strong>, that is, the person who expresses flamenco<br \/>\nthrough a harp. The album <strong>Arpaora<\/strong> becomes the first source and reference in the history of Flamenco music where the harp acquires a purely flamenco language, discourse and codes.<\/p>\n<p>Born in the cradle of flamenco art, Jerez de la Frontera, <strong>Ana Crism\u00e1n<\/strong> delves into unexplored terrain and investigates the infinite sonority of the harp, bringing it into flamenco territory. Like precursors such as <strong>Paco de Luc\u00eda<\/strong> who enriched the expression of flamenco, Ana enables this instrument to express all the styles of this genre with the personality and the stamp of the harp. Crism\u00e1n invites us to share her first debut album <strong>Arpaora<\/strong>, a journey of her own compositions that begins with a zambra and extends through the most representative flamenco styles, bringing us innovation and her own flamenco voice.<\/p>\n<p>The artist, who has created and developed self-taught techniques to turn the harp into an instrument of this genre, discovering its expressiveness and depth in its different forms, has captivated audiences at prestigious spanish and international festivals such as the World Music Festival in Chicago, the LA International Flamenco Festival and the Manhattan Repertory Theatre in New York, as well as at international festivals in France, Belgium, Italy and the UK.
