This opus will be presented on Thursday, <strong>March 19, 2026<\/strong>, on the stage of <strong>Studio de L&#8217;Ermitage (Paris)<\/strong> during an exceptional launch concert.<\/p>\n<p>The new single \u2018<strong>L\u2019encendido<\/strong>\u2019 will be available on all platforms from the end of January 2026.<\/p>\n<p>For 25 years, <strong>TRAM<\/strong> has been forging a singular musical identity through ten original productions, six albums, and more than 1,200 live performances. The five musician-vocalists continue to explore and reinvent a wide range of musical traditions \u2014 from Central European and klezmer influences to Nordic folk and the polyrhythms of Reunion Island.<\/p>\n<p>What truly defines the band is the strong bond uniting its members and their shared spirit of joyful discovery. The group\u2019s signature pop\u2019n trad energy remains as vibrant as ever, now enriched at times with a bold touch of rock.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TRAM<\/strong> consists of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Vincent Gaffet<\/strong>: vocals, accordion, Jew&#8217;s harp, harmonica<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vincent Westphal<\/strong>: vocals, clarinet, bass clarinet<\/li>\n<li><strong>Diego Meymarian<\/strong>: vocals, violin, cittern, banjo, mandolin<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mathieu Cervera<\/strong>: drums, percussion, vocals<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nicolas Canavaggia<\/strong>: double bass, electric bass, vocals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE STORY(IES) OF AN ALBUM : the Genesis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alligator<\/strong> tells the story of a renewal and a slow maturation for the group. On the previous project, En cavale (created in 2022 and still on tour), <strong>TRAM<\/strong> invited singer <strong>M\u00e9lissa Zantman<\/strong> to join them on an intimate, acoustic repertoire largely focused on traditional tunes and Central European polyphonies.<\/p>\n<p>For the next creation, the band chose to embrace contrast and take their time: two years spent exploring new paths and once again letting themselves be carried by the influences and ideas brought in by each of the musicians.<\/p>\n<p>It was also about moving past the group\u2019s 25-year milestone without slipping into nostalgia or self-celebration, yet without denying the path that brought them here. The result is an album shaped by a rich variety of textures and voices, driven at full tilt by a band always ready to make boundaries dance.
