This opus will be presented on <strong>Wednesday, November 05, 2025<\/strong> on the stage of <strong>Les 2 Pianos<\/strong> (Paris, 15th) during an exceptional launch concert.<\/p>\n<p>The fruit of labour centered on improvisation and orality, this first album features nine original compositions, performed by <strong>Ga\u00eblle Bagot<\/strong> on lead <strong>vocals<\/strong> and <strong>clarinets<\/strong> &#8211; B flat, E flat, bass &#8211; and <strong>Juan Manuel Nieto<\/strong> on <strong>piano <\/strong>and<strong> vocals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On three tracks, <strong>two guests<\/strong> bring their taste for experimentation and hybridization to the duo: <strong>cellist Simon Lannoy<\/strong>, constantly on the lookout for sound exploration, and <strong>beatboxer Oxyjinn<\/strong>, a vocal explorer.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Jardin d&#8217;ailleurs<\/strong><\/em> evokes an intimate and poetic sonic voyage, at the crossroads of <strong>jazz, world music <\/strong>and<strong> chanson<\/strong>, and blends the nomadic breath of the clarinet, a clear and expressive voice, and a piano with pop or jazz harmonies. The album navigates between world rhythms, sung melodies and improvisations, like a musical travel diary with warm, lively accents.<\/p>\n<p>In search of aerial flights and cross-country surveys, these two musicians forge their complicity around <strong>the art of duo<\/strong> and unveil compositions that invite travel beyond borders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ga\u00eblle Bagot<\/strong>, French clarinettist and singer, and <strong>Juan Manuel Nieto<\/strong>, Ecuadorian pianist, met in 2017 as part of the \u201cJazz, improvised &amp; traditional music\u201d curriculum at P\u00f4le Sup&#8217; 93, an advanced training program that enabled them to perfect their skills with renowned artists such as <strong>Vincent S\u00e9gal, Magic Malik, Julien Lourau, Bojan Z<\/strong> and <strong>Fran\u00e7ois Jeanneau<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For three years, they enriched their respective worlds, fusing influences and learning.<br \/>\nAfter graduating, and with the support of cellist <strong>Vincent S\u00e9gal<\/strong>, Ga\u00eblle and Juan decided in 2020 to form a <strong>minimalist duo<\/strong>, <strong>piano<\/strong> and <strong>clarinet\/voice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Their first arrangements were covers of songs and pieces from local and international cultures.<br \/>\nBut they soon moved on to original creations. Their <strong>original compositions<\/strong>, <strong>created by the two of them<\/strong>, explore a melodic language rich in <strong>polyrhythms, ornaments, unisons<\/strong> and <strong>varied playing modes<\/strong>; they are nourished by their eclectic musical curiosity: <strong>folk, jazz, salsa, French chanson, Ecuadorian, Brazilian and Argentinean music, Breton\/Irish music, Balkan music, maloya, etc.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since 2021, the duo has been performing in concert, notably at <strong>Festival Saint-Denis<\/strong>, <strong>Festival Jazz in Noyon<\/strong>, <strong>Sunset-Sunside<\/strong> and <strong>La Bellevilloise<\/strong> in Paris.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ga\u00eblle Bagot &amp; Juan Manuel Nieto will reveal Jardin d&#8217;ailleurs, their new album, on its release on October 03, 2025 under MusiqueLive \/ InOu\u00efe Distribution.
