This opus will be presented on Thursday, <strong>April 10 2025<\/strong>, on the stage of <strong>360 Paris Music Factory<\/strong> during an exceptional launch concert.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a1 The single \u201cJuin en novembre\u201d will be released soon on all platforms.\u2b05<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aur\u00e9lie<\/strong> <strong>Charneux<\/strong> is a clarinettist. Classically trained, she is as much a creator as a performer, and soon turns her attention to improvisation and composition. Oriental music and swing have had a major influence on her career. She explores and mixes different languages. She founded the group <strong>Klezmic<\/strong> <strong>Zirkus<\/strong> (with whom she played for ten years in Belgium, France, Germany and Switzerland) and the quintet <strong>Mamaliga<\/strong> <strong>Orkestar<\/strong>. The trio <strong>Charneux<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Leleux<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Puma<\/strong> is her latest project. Cinqui\u00e8me saison, his sixth album for <strong>homerecords.be<\/strong>, is undoubtedly his most personal.<\/p>\n<p>The trio is composed of:<br \/>\n<strong>Aur\u00e9lie<\/strong> <strong>Charneux<\/strong>: compositions, clarinets<br \/>\n<strong>Simon<\/strong> <strong>Leleux<\/strong>: percussion<br \/>\n<strong>Nicolas<\/strong> <strong>Puma<\/strong>: double bass<\/p>\n<p>Guest musicians: <strong>Quatuor<\/strong> <strong>Prisma<\/strong> (tracks 2, 5, 7, 9) :<br \/>\n<strong>Allison<\/strong> <strong>Tr\u00e9sor<\/strong> (first violin), <strong>Julien<\/strong> <strong>Gillain<\/strong> (second violin), <strong>Maxime<\/strong> <strong>Devynck<\/strong> (viola) and <strong>Eug\u00e9nie<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Defraigne<\/strong> (cello).<\/p>\n<p>There exists an intercontinental music from a country that doesn\u2019t exist, a place where sounds can cross paths and converse freely, without baggage or passport. As warm as the snowdrifts of the Taiga, and cooler than the torpor of the sub-Saharan heat&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Climate change, the drifting of continents, forced migrations\u2014today&#8217;s world is shaking up our reference points&#8230; The work presented here explores and reclaims various musical traditions, whether close or distant, and aims to create a sound with a fluid identity.<\/p>\n<p>Here, an aboriginal rhythm evokes classical chamber music; there, modes from both sides of the Mediterranean meet for the first time&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the joy and risk of erasing boundaries. &#8220;There are no more seasons,&#8221; or perhaps a fifth season, one that defies conventions. Moments of improvisation, sometimes bordering on trance, bring us with elegance to both vigor and intimacy.<\/p>\n<p>An equilateral trio where <strong>Simon<\/strong> <strong>Leleux<\/strong> (a specialist of the doholla and darbuka), double bassist <strong>Nicolas<\/strong> <strong>Puma<\/strong>, a versatile and chameleon-like musician, and the generous breath of clarinetist <strong>Aur\u00e9lie<\/strong> <strong>Charneux<\/strong>, who also composes most of the material, engage in a dynamic dialogue.
