This new work will be presented live on stage on <strong>Thursday December 12, 2024<\/strong> at <strong>Studio de L\u2019Ermitage <\/strong>(Paris).<\/p>\n<p>Their first single &#8216;<strong>Tallal<\/strong>&#8216; will be available on all platforms on <strong>September<\/strong> <strong>13<\/strong>,<strong> 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Yacine<\/strong> <strong>Malek<\/strong>: an extraordinary pianist in search of light and cultures, with open horizons who invites us on a journey beyond Jazz because his music is unique and worth discovering!<\/p>\n<p>Line-up:<br \/>\n<strong>Yacine Malek<\/strong>: piano<br \/>\n<strong>Linley<\/strong> <strong>Marthe<\/strong>: bass<br \/>\n<strong>Karim<\/strong> <strong>Ziad<\/strong>: drums (tracks 1 to 3)<br \/>\n<strong>Jeff<\/strong> <strong>Ludovicus<\/strong>: drums (tracks 4 to 6)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Yacine Malek<\/strong>&#8216;s new album is a quest, in which the virtuoso pianist grabs us and draws us in. A grab that operates from his introduction on the solo piano in <strong>Like Brazil<\/strong>, the theme that opens the album in tribute to <strong>Michel<\/strong> <strong>Petrucciani<\/strong>. Yacine takes us with him on the large stool of his piano, as close as possible to his accomplices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It is the quest for a melodic Grail dedicated to the public. A quest to share with the greatest number, without blush in its raw state, for a music that the artist wants to be totally communicative. <strong>Yacine<\/strong> <strong>Malek<\/strong> wants to make music a moment of immediate and spontaneous sharing &#8220;I give myself constantly and fully every time I go on stage&#8230; to touch people deep inside<br \/>\nthemselves and move them&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If <strong>Yacine<\/strong> <strong>Malek<\/strong> is also in demand by the greats of showbiz, it is for his qualities as a <strong>composer<\/strong>, <strong>arranger<\/strong> and <strong>musical<\/strong> <strong>director<\/strong>, beyond what he reveals in Jazz. References that have also taught him a lot, in music and in the relationship with the public. <strong>Yacine<\/strong> thus gives himself with no restraint to the public alongside <strong>Liane<\/strong> <strong>Foly<\/strong> since 2022 in the show &#8220;<strong>I Love Jazz<\/strong>&#8221; by the Singer, of whom he is the pianist, arranger, and musical director.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Yacine<\/strong> <strong>Malek<\/strong> launched himself into &#8220;<strong>Yacine<\/strong> <strong>Malek<\/strong> <strong>Double<\/strong> <strong>Trio<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Live<\/strong> <strong>In<\/strong> <strong>Paris<\/strong>&#8221; without really knowing it. Spontaneously, &#8220;par la force des choses&#8221; during the lockdown at the beginning of 2021. Exasperated like so many other musicians, <strong>Yacine<\/strong> went on stage with <strong>Linley<\/strong> <strong>Marthe<\/strong> and <strong>Karim<\/strong> <strong>Ziad<\/strong> for a Live streaming, at the <strong>Regard du Cygne<\/strong> after crossing a deserted Paris, duly equipped with his mandatory pass. Objective: to rediscover the sensations, the audience, even if it means going through digital. To turn back on the colors of music, with a sort of underground concert!
