Singer songwriter, \u201cartivist\u201d, producer, Seheno<\/strong> was born in Madagascar<\/strong>, she comes from a family of renowned Malagasy musicians, founders of the famous pop band \u201cNy Railovy<\/strong>\u201c.
\nHer musical upbringing was nurtured by her malagasy<\/strong> roots, a crossover of Africa & Indian Ocean and her attachment for non-conformism and diversity.<\/p>\n

Her acclaimed debut album \u201cKa<\/strong>\u201d (Lokanga 2008) won the \u201ccoup de coeur\u201d RFI (Radio France Internationale) and she was selected as the guest artist from Madagascar<\/strong> at the Dom Tom Folies 2008 at Francofolies de la Rochelle.
\n\u201cKa<\/strong>\u201d was an eco-friendly packaged album, unique of its kind, using handmade paper (recycled cotton). This initiative warmly praised by French medias (Bio Consomm\u2019 acteur, Ecolomag, F\u00e9minin Bio, Marianne\u2026) was her tribute to the sacred dimension of nature inherited from her culture whereas the unique biodiversity of Madagascar is nowadays at stake.<\/p>\n

A border free artist, her new album \u201cHazo Kely<\/strong>\u201d brings ethnic, electronic, blues and pop influences together. Organic and hybrid sound textures mingle with her sensous voice, opening into exotic dreamlands resonating in colorful and groovy Malagasy<\/strong> and English<\/strong>.
\nWith her new adventure she delivers an entirely homemade<\/i>, composed music, with the collaboration of the tabla virtuoso Prabhu Edouard<\/strong> on percussions. Seheno<\/strong> is a maverick artist fiercly independant from musical categories who unveils a new sound in the musicscape of Madagascar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hazo Kely<\/strong>\u2018s packaging is made of 100% recycled cardboard and the CD is made with certified recycled polycarbonate.<\/p>\n
