He is now one of the most sought-after guitarists on the&nbsp;<strong>Malian<\/strong>scene. For the&nbsp;<strong>Swiss<\/strong>&nbsp;multi-instrumentalist and world-music specialist&nbsp;<strong>Vincent Zanetti<\/strong>, the Malian Mande is his land of adoption. \u201cIn 2011, when we created our duo and repertoire,&nbsp;<strong>Samba<\/strong>&nbsp;and myself called it \u2018<strong>Kala Jula<\/strong>\u2019 (the nomadic archer) as a tribute to the ancestor of the&nbsp;<strong>Diabate<\/strong>&nbsp;griots. But a part of his byname was missing.
