{"id":12698,"date":"2022-04-07T16:15:07","date_gmt":"2022-04-07T14:15:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/veevcom.com\/?p=12698"},"modified":"2022-04-07T16:15:07","modified_gmt":"2022-04-07T14:15:07","slug":"horzines-stara-presente-bords-de-terre-dubhe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/veevcom.com\/en\/horzines-stara-presente-bords-de-terre-dubhe\/","title":{"rendered":"Horzines Stara present &#8220;Bords de Terre &#8211; Dubhe&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Horzines Stara<\/strong> will unveil their new album \u00ab <strong>Bords de Terre &#8211; Dubhe<\/strong> \u00bb on its&nbsp;<strong>digital release May 20, 2022<\/strong> and <strong>physical release June 17, 2022<\/strong> on <strong>Vlad Productions<\/strong> \/&nbsp;<strong>InOu\u00efe Distribution<\/strong>.&nbsp;This new work will be presented live on stage on Thursday <strong>June 30, 2022<\/strong> at <strong>Studio&nbsp;de L\u2019Ermitage<\/strong> (Paris).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Bords de terre is the sandy beach that ends and welcomes the passage of all borders,&nbsp;the opening of possibilities for migrations and the great stellar void, without firm ground&nbsp;to cling to, without roots to plant. The album aim is to question the borders in all senses,&nbsp;whether they are those of the musical genre, of the structure, of the ages, of the&nbsp;emotions, of the sensations. Duhbe is a constellation and a dreamlike point of view that&nbsp;we want to bring to the world.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With four polyphonic voices supported by acoustic instruments, the traditional style takes&nbsp;hold. By installing evolving melodic-rhythmic loops, the progressive aspect resonates with&nbsp;the traditional. The pop bass of the cello mingles with the mixed melodies of the guitar;&nbsp;the percussion ranging from the djembe to the cave tom ricochets on the rhythmic&nbsp;accents of the bellow shake accordion: <strong>Horzines Stara<\/strong> plays with pleasure running from&nbsp;one style to another. The inspiration comes from artists such as Khadja Bonet, Dikanda,&nbsp;Las Lloronas and Fatoumata Diawara. The vocal harmonies, characteristic of the group,&nbsp;affirm this poetic freedom.<\/p>\n<p>In our creative process, freedom is paramount. Musical roles are exchanged. We seek to&nbsp;put our relationship with the cycles of life into music. Birth, growth, old age, death, night,&nbsp;dawn, zenith, dusk&#8230; Cyclesrepeat themselves and sometimes break.&nbsp;After four years of research, the album <strong>Bords de terre &#8211; Dubhe<\/strong> was born thanks to a&nbsp;collaboration with Fanny Massi\u00e8re, the studio Z\u00e9phirand the label Vlad.
