Komasi<\/strong> will unveil their new album “Mezclatot\u00e4l<\/strong>” on its release March 5, 2021<\/strong> on Yapa \/ Inou\u00efe Distribution.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This new work will be presented live on stage on Thursday November 4, 2021<\/strong> at the Studio de <\/strong>L\u2019Ermitage<\/strong> (Paris).<\/p>\n

The band is made of:
\n– Simon Chenet<\/strong>: guitar, chorus
\n– Mauricio Santana<\/strong>: guitar, vocal
\n– Koto Brawa<\/strong>: drums, vocal, percussions<\/p>\n

The album<\/strong>
\nA successful marriage between Mandingo cumbia and psychedelic afrobeat, with KOMASI<\/strong>, three continents meet on stage: Europe with Simon Chenet<\/strong> (France), Africa with Koto Brawa<\/strong> (Burkina Faso), Latin America with Mauricio Santana<\/strong> (Chile).
\nThe MEZCLATOT\u00c4L<\/strong> album was recorded in France, Cuba and Burkina-Faso.
\nThe concept was simply obvious: “MEZCLATOT\u00c4L<\/strong>: the ultimate blend”.<\/p>\n

The band<\/strong>
\nKOMASI\u2019s three members<\/strong> have known each other for ten years, playing with the same singers (Edgar Sekloka, KPG, Ga\u00ebl Faye, Victor D\u00e9m\u00e9…<\/em>) or within the same bands (Yapa, Joke…<\/em>).
\nIn 2018, as each of them worked on a solo album, they decided to join forces to form a power trio. Three charismatic personalities, three warriors, bringing together three universes, compositions and cultures.<\/p>\n
