\nworks of Vladimir Sambol, composer Fiuman of the 1930s, who
\nemigrated to Sweden after the Second World War.
\nSambol’s writing has been faithfully respected in some cases; in others,
\nit has been used to develop and obtain pieces that are profoundly
\ndifferent from the original in favor of a new atypical sound research for
\nthe quintet, expanded by surprising collaborations. Electric guitar and
\nbass, violin with effects, drums, are just some of the novelties of the
\ndisc; the original pieces are unstructured, rearranged, transfigured and
\nsometimes added to ad-hoc pieces.
\nThe record was recorded at Mauro Pagani’s<\/strong> “Officine Meccaniche”
\nstudios in Milan in November 2018<\/strong>. The shots were made by Guido<\/strong>
\nAndreani<\/strong> and the mix by Laurent Dupuy<\/strong> (double grammy “best world
\nmusic album” 2014, 2015), and artistic direction by Stefano Piro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
