The album will be presented on <strong>Friday 11 December 2026<\/strong> on stage at <strong>La P\u00e9niche Anako<\/strong> (Paris, 19th arrondissement) during a special launch concert.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The first single \u201c<strong>Luna fortuna<\/strong>\u201d is already available on all platforms<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As a singer-songwriter and performer, <strong>Louis Pastorelli<\/strong> continues to forge a unique artistic path with <strong>Gigi de Nissa<\/strong>, a journey that began in 2010 with a self-titled debut album acclaimed for the way it weaves together tradition and modernity, Occitan and French, folk heritage and a contemporary perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A committed figure in the Occitan cultural revival spearheaded in particular by <strong>Massilia Sound System<\/strong> and the <strong>Fabulous Trobadors<\/strong>, founder of the independent Nice Carnival and leader of the band <strong>NUX VOMICA<\/strong>, <strong>Louis Pastorelli<\/strong> has never ceased to create a dialogue between the history of Nice and the present. Under the name Gigi de Nissa, he explores a more intimate and <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">narrative vein, in a spirit that is at once carnivalesque, satirical and deeply human.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\">Line-up:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Louis Pastorelli<\/strong>: vocals, raj\u00e3o, guitars; <strong>Milena Pastorelli<\/strong>: diatonic harmonica, percussion, vocals, backing vocals; <strong>Alexandre Auria<\/strong>: guitars, espina, banjo, bass, backing vocals; <strong>J\u00e9r\u00e9my Couraut<\/strong>: guitars, espina; <strong>F\u00e9lix Liperi<\/strong>: guitar; <strong>Leo Corr\u00eaa Merand<\/strong>: rabeca; <strong>C\u00e9dric Le Donne<\/strong>: drums; <strong>Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rick Lacroix<\/strong>: bass; Artistic advisor: <strong>Moussu T<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Gigi de Nissa<\/strong> returns with this second album, which is more collaborative in nature but still driven by the same desire to make a popular heritage resonate with today\u2019s realities, and to give a voice to everyday life, celebrations, frustrations and joys that still permeate the neighbourhoods of Nice. And for this venture, he has surrounded himself with a loyal and close-knit team.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The record label, <strong>Manivette Records<\/strong>, invited <strong>Moussu T<\/strong> (alias <strong>Tatou<\/strong>, <strong>Fran\u00e7ois Ridel<\/strong>, leader of the bands <strong>Moussu T e lei Jovents<\/strong> and <strong>Massilia Sound System<\/strong>) to support the project as artistic consultant. A key figure on the Occitan and Marseille music scenes, his vision and high standards shape a warm, sophisticated sound that is deeply rooted in popular Mediterranean music.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">This new repertoire further affirms <strong>Gigi de Nissa<\/strong>\u2019s uniqueness: music that draws as much from the streets of Nice as from the shores of the Mediterranean, where traditional repertoires interact naturally with contemporary sounds, music that is festive but lucid, intimate yet collective.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Blending traditional elements, contemporary rhythms and social poetry, he paints a sensitive portrait of Nice and the world, as seen from home, the street and everyday life. Musically, this second album broadens the horizons. Alongside its Occitan and Mediterranean roots are Brazilian and Portuguese influences: swaying rhythms, raj\u00e3o guitar, organic percussion by <strong>Jam Da Silva<\/strong>, and the rabeca played by the Brazilian <strong>Leonardo C\u00f4rrea<\/strong>&#8230; All these elements infuse the whole with a warm and personal vibe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In these new songs, <strong>Louis Pastorelli<\/strong> continues his creative work in the Occitan language, and more specifically in the Nice\u2019s variety of Occitan (ni\u00e7ois), which he places at the heart of his writing.
